Tests / Game (interactive multimedia) for children with a poissible risk of dyslexia aged 4 -6 years; the possible early detection and prevention of reading and writing difficulties.

The tests are presented in the form of games and are aimed at children from the age of four who do not have any experience in reading and writing. The menu is designed as a tree stump overgrown with toadstools and a cartoon mouse which fulfills the same function as the computer mouse. The mouse controls everything and instructs the child with its voice and with pictures. For each completed task the mouse plays a melody and the player gets a toadstool. There is no rush, the mouse will always wait. When a child makes a mistake he or she can try to solve the task repeatedly without feeling they have done something wrong. When the game is finished, a parent / expert can check the results. He/she can see how many times the child attempted the task before they were able to find the correct solution. Everything is displayed at the end in percentages and pictures (in case a parent is dyslexic or dysgraphic himself, it is hereditary in 50% of the cases).

To label a child at pre-school age as dyslectic is not entirely possible. However, we can identify problems that precede this handicap. We are trying to bring any possible future problems to the parents´ attention so that they can start to work with their child immediately. The tests are designed in a way that allows amateurs to use them without expert knowledge. Some parents may be cautious and in doing so wait until the child starts first class where he or she may experience initial disappointments. The tests are directed not only at professionals, but also parents and grandparents.

The main thing is that children want to work with the tests so they can
train and activate - connect the two hemispheres of the brain. The tasks assess visual perception, memory, orientation, hearing, concentration, etc., i.e. everything a child has to know to be able to learn how to read and write properly.
